GSD Rescue society is a growing group of volunteers committed to creating a second chance for dogs that for many reasons are in need of new homes. This is a non-profit organization with the income derived from adoption fees. The other sources for functioning of the organization are donations, fund raising activities and so on. All the money raised is given for care for the dogs. There are different rescue efforts that are done to save the dogs.

These dogs are not the easiest animals to take care for, so many of them seek for a new loving home. These dogs need proper diet, exercise, training, grooming and veterinary attention. The first shots are usually given to the pup when it’s in the breeder’s kennel. It’s the owner’s duty to take the dog to the vet for routine check ups. As for exercise needs, these large and active dogs are suited for an apartment, but they should be exercised outdoors sufficiently.
